In Your Car: Intimate Landscapes of Connection and Desire

Sasha Katz, born in 1984, is a visual artist based in Athens, Greece. After completing her studies in Illustration at the British Higher School of Arts and Design, she has focused her artistic pursuits on the exploration of female sensuality and the poetic expression of the body.

Through her work, Katz challenges traditional beauty norms and expresses a deep reverence for women, redefining conventional aesthetics. Her pieces have been exhibited globally at prestigious venues such as PanAmerican Art Projects, pal project, Francisco Carolinum Linz, DecentralArt Pavilion, and Nox G. Additionally, her work has garnered attention in renowned publications like Kunstforum, It’s Nice That, I-D, Juxtapoz, and Vogue Italia.

“In your car”, a component of her broader “Erotic Diaries” series, captures thirty minutes inside a stranger’s car – a space as confined as it is expansive in potential. Here, Katz distills raw human emotions to their most potent: love and desire, fleeting yet intense. These moments, brief as they may be, are rendered timeless.
