In conversation with Scorpion Dagger
In this episode of Fakewhale Live, host Jesse Draxler chats with visual artist Scorpion Dagger, also known as James Kerr.
First, they give Scorpion Dagger’s background: a digital artist living in Montreal, Canada, who has been creating art for many years.
Having a mother who is a sculptor and a painter, as well as his father and older brother who are tech enthusiasts, he was surrounded by art and technology growing up.
After explaining his initial journey making art as a hobby, with friends, and eventually joining an art collective called the Young People’s Foundation, he further describes how his art has evolved into digital collages over time.
With the last part of the conversation, Scorpion Dagger also discusses his journey from studying political science to becoming an artist, illustrating how personal experiences and influences can enlighten a person’s artistic vision.
