“This concept was inspired by personal experiences I lived while exercising in a private sport club. I have consistently being using sports as a symbol in my works to avoid censorship, selecting it as a metaphor for resistance, endurance, hope, perseverance, and the essence of life. In mass sporting events, physical abilities, gender, race, and age transcend—a collective activity where winning and losing hold no significance. Instead, the focus is on values such as cooperation, vitality, mobility, and overall health. In this sport, everyone is a winner, fostering unity and celebrating collective well-being. In this project I would like to do research about public spaces. How does our connection shift when we encounter these shared areas? How democratic and non-democratic are these spaces? Do we share similar experiences and interpretations in these contexts? In “A Mass Sporting Project”, I aim to transform a gallery into a half-stadium. The goal is to create an environment where all participants and spectators gather on a common ground, fostering a sense of inclusivity where no individual is positioned in front of another.”
